The following information is provided by the EAC to
help educate the township residents on environmental issues within the Township
Environmental Advisory Council
The Bushkill Township
Environmental Advisory Council (EAC)
was initially formed by a township ordinance during the late 1970s. The
EAC
is responsible for
important
environmental initiatives and programs provided through the
Township.
Activities include
open space planning and land preservation, land development
plan reviews, newsletters, environmental education projects, greenways plan
implementation projects,
historic resource protection,
recycling and composting programs,
and many other opportunities.
Meetings, which are open to the public, are held on the second Thursday of each
month at 7PM at the Township Building.
